Went twice... breakfast and dinner. The staff was super friendly and got my fix of deli food. Visited a different location years ago. It was just a great pair of visits.

If you like a NY style deli with a sit down restaurant TooJays is a great find. As much as I want to explore their menu, it's hard to pass up a good Pastrami on Rye, which is my regular. My dad was always an extremely picky eater, but once I introduced my parents to TooJays it became their favorite and regular spot. My mom loves the Brisket Dip (French Dip) and my dad loved the Corned Beef on Rye. My dad was also a bit of a snob with Porato Knishes... before TooJays he would drive 45min while visiting relatives and stock up like they were made of gold. TooJays Knishes are just as good and much more convenient. Their deli/bakery area also has great brownies.

I would really say “4.5 stars” but that’s not an option with Google Reviews, so chose 5 stars as this place is really good! Huge menu, including options for kids and vegetarians, very friendly staff, clean environment, we had great wait service from “Helen” and our meals were terrific. My hubby got the “Rachel” sandwich which was very lean, tender pastrami with sauerkraut, thousand island dressing and Swiss cheese on grilled rye. I had the Turkey Reuben with delicious house roasted and sliced Turkey, sauerkraut, thousand island sauce and Swiss cheese grilled on rye bread. You get to pick 2 side dishes with these types of sandwiches so we got their creamy coleslaw which was excellent and the steak fries. The only reason I said “really a 4.5 star experience” was because I asked for my fries to by super crispy but mine were not as hot and crispy as I wanted. The fries had great taste though! The sandwiches also come with a cold, delicious, crunchy garlic dill pickle on the side. Fresh brewed iced tea was excellent - no off taste from bad water/ice or anything. Both my husband and I absolutely loved the fresh sliced deli meat on our sandwiches- really tender and so flavorful. Prices are reasonable for the quality of food you get. There is also an in-house bakery with awesome desserts: cakes, cookies, key lime pie. We shared a piece of the “chocolate layer cake with chocolate mousse filling - delicious! They have a great breakfast menu, too. Glad we made a reservation online because when we arrived there was a waiting line out the door! We will be back to enjoy another great meal here!

I very rarely rate any establishment a 5 but this location truly rates it. I stopped here with 2 friends for lunch on a suggestion from a friend back in GA. WOW....phenomenal menu selections and food. I wish I could have just stayed and ate there all week. I tried something really simple.....Corned Beef Sandwich. The sandwich was fantastic and reminded me somewhat of the great deli sandwiches I used to get at the Stage Deli and Carnegie Deli when I worked in NYC. If you folks ever decide to expand to Atlanta GA or the suburbs of where I live you'll make a fortune up here with all the northern transplants. Thank you for a great afternoon...... I'll certainly be back next time I'm in town.

I was in town for work from Tallahassee. Anna was attentive and helpful to select an amazing meal. She was working extremely hard to make sure all of her tables were taken care of and still took time to make conversation with each customer. I look forward to visiting again and try another one of her recommendations.
